El jueves 4 de agosto la Fundación Solón reabre sus instalaciones con una muestra retrospectiva de la obra de Walter Solón Romero relacionada con los derechos humanos.

Walter Solón Romero fue un militante de los Derechos Humanos. Sus dibujos y pinturas ilustran las más crueles agresiones de la dictadura contra la sociedad, las tuvo que vivir en carne  propia.

"That no child should lose the right to be a man".

This drawing produced by Walter Solon Romero highlighted his commitment to the rights of the child. Solon’s work was fundamentally intertwined with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948).

This essence and message will be the theme of an exhibition opening at the Fundacion Solon on 4 August. The exhibition will feature 60 works produced over half century including paintings, drawings, engravings, tapestries and murals.
